4Media Video Editor Description
4Media Video Editor is a straightforward piece of software that enables you to perform several video editing operations, namely joining and splitting clips. It is pretty easy to figure out, regardless of your previous experience with this type of apps.
After a brief and uneventful setup procedure, you are greeted by a modern window with an intuitive structure, where you can get started by selecting the operation type.
Video files can be added to the list using either the file browser or drag-and-drop method. It is possible to include as many clips as you want when the goal is merging. These can be previewed in the main panel, and you can apply a fade in and out effect.
Before joining them you can specify the output file name and destination, as well as turn the target video into another format, whether it is audio or video, or a profile compatible with various media devices (e.g. iPad, Android).
Additionally, you can edit audio and video settings when it comes to the size, quality, bit rate, aspect ratio, zoom mode, and other attributes.
Video splitting can be done in two ways. You can set bookmarks in any desired part of the clips, in order to create multiple selections for cutting them at once. The secondary way is automatic, by taking into account time (minutes) or size (MB or average segments). The cutter has the same functionality as the splitter. However, it enables you to accurately select the start and end time values or positions. The aforementioned conversion options apply in both modules.
The application uses low-to-moderate CPU and RAM, so it should not put a strain on computer performance. It delivers speedy tasks and quality videos. We have not come across any problems in our testing. In a nutshell, 4Media Video Editor is a surprisingly resourceful program for cutting and merging videos, backed by a converter.
