LinqConnect Express Description
LinqConnect Express is an ORM solution that facilitates database connections between LINQ and SQL. Featuring support for MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLite and SQL Server, the application gives you the possibility to work with programs based on .NET Framework, Microsoft Silverlight, Metro or Windows Phone, whether they support Code-First, Model-First, Database-First or combined approaches, thanks to ADO.NET.
The setup installation is customizable so you can exclude any components when it comes to the MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLite and SQL Server data providers, samples to help you get started, the LINQ data source components, help documentation, and Entity Developer, a visual model designer with user-friendly wizards that guide you toward creating models from databases or databases from models or synchronizing existing models to databases (in any direction) using ready templates. In addition to this, you can tell the tool whether or not you want it to install assemblies in the GAC.
LinqConnect Express supports the commonly used mapping cases, such as complex types, TPT and TPH inheritance, many-to-many associations, or mapping stored procedures that return cursors to methods. Furthermore, the ORM solution comes bundled with a tracker for code changes, advanced error processing modes, and POCO support, among others.
