MPThree Alarm Clock is a lightweight piece of software designed to help you set up alarms or notifications so that you can attend to various tasks that you have planned for the day.
Quick setup and user-friendly interface
The setup is a two-step process that entails decompressing the archive and then following a few standard steps that do not require too much attention from your part. Upon launch, you are welcomed by a rugged and outdated, yet intuitive interface that is unlikely to give you any troubles.
The UI consists of a single window that displays the path of the file that you want to play along with the timer for the alarm. As you probably hinted, you can set the alarm using the dedicated buttons and make sure that you check the enable alarm option.
Enables you to prevent operating system shutdowns
The application allows you to set up the snooze delay to the desired interval, an option that can come in handy when you are setting up notifications for various tasks that you need to attend to and that get postpones for reasons beyond your control.
At the same time, you can set the default stop button, prevent the shutdown of the operating system, reset the wake time and auto-repeat the sound. The latter feature can be useful if you are using a short tune, but that you find suitable to add as a wake-up alarm, for instance.
Unfortunately, the program does not enable you to set multiple alarms and does not include a schedule function, options that can be helpful in the long run. Therefore, you can set one alarm at a time for a single event and for which you cannot add a description.
