Easy YouTube Downloader Description
As much as we enjoy watching videos on YouTube, it is sometimes necessary to save these clips locally if we wish to view them when offline as well.
Easy YouTube Downloader is a fairly straightforward app that provides you with the means to grab individual videos or entire playlists. It is very simple to use, but it comes with a limited set of features.
Novice-friendly video downloader
Inexperienced users should be happy to learn that this application is about as intuitive as a YouTube downloader can get. Essentially, you just need to select the desired quality, set the output location and add the video or playlist URL from the clipboard.
Multiple clips can be included in the processing queue and then downloaded at once. The operation can even be paused at any time, and the current transfer speed is displayed in the bottom-right corner of the UI.
Cannot download high-resolution videos or extract audio tracks
Sadly, Easy YouTube Downloader is not the best choice if you wish to grab 1080p, 2K, 4K or 8K videos. Even though the 1080p option is available, we were not able to download content at any resolution above 720p. Also, it is not possible to convert clips to other formats.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the program does not allow you to extract audio tracks from videos and save them separately. Given that many users want to save their favorite songs to MP3 or other formats, this feature would have come in handy.
Basic download manager that enables you to save YouTube videos and playlists
When it comes down to it, Easy YouTube Downloader is a good choice for users who need a no-nonsense tool for grabbing YouTube clips with minimal effort. It allows you to save both individual videos and playlists, and it is very easy to use, but it lacks support for high-definition clips and several other useful features.
