Fliqlo Description

There was a time when screensavers were of great importance, helping you keep old CRT monitors healthy by constantly using colors. However, the purpose of screensavers shifted, and are now used on Kiosks and large displays to show various types of information, and Fliqlo can display the time in a flip-style clock.

Automatically set as your default screensaver

Installing the screensaver takes incredibly little time, with the Windows Screen Saver Settings panel showing up right afterwards. Fliqlo is automatically set as your new default screensaver. Needless to say that this can easily be changed through the dedicated drop-down menu, or you can give this one a shot for a while.

What the application wants to do is to provide an accurate display of time in a cool style. Hours and minutes are shown in a flip-style clock, and reads details from system time. The entire screen is covered in a simple blend of a black background with the stylish display of hour and minute, which animates with every change in minutes and hours.

Set the size of the clock and time format

You can hit the preview button to see how it looks on your screen. Needless to say that it benefits from the default set of screensaver options, such as the number of minutes to wait before it kicks in, and whether or not to display the logon screen on resume, which is helpful if you leave your desk but your user is password-protected.

There are also several dedicated settings to work with. A new window shows up with a preview of the clock. You can adjust the size of the clock through a slider, and choose whether to display time in a 12 or 24 hour format.

To end with

Taking everything into consideration, we come to the conclusion that Fliqlo is a cool way to have time displayed on an idle computer. It’s especially handy with Kiosks or large displays with no other purpose than to entertain or inform particular groups of people.
