N-Converter Description
N-Converter is a simple and straightforward application you can use to perform conversions between various measurement units. It offers support for angle, area, density, diffusivity, dynamic viscosity, and others.
Easy to integrate into Windows
This tool is particularly practical to keep on the PC when you don’t have a working Internet connection to use for looking up converted units online. It’s optimized for desktops, laptops, notebooks and tablets running Windows 10, 8.1 and 8, so it can be installed from the Windows Store and blended with the Start Menu or Screen to launch it just like any other Metro app.
Select one of the categories to convert related units
The categories are listed in white text on light blue background. In addition to the previously mentioned groups, you can convert units when it comes to elastic modulus, energy, flowrate, force, length, mass, power, prefix, pressure, shear modulus, specific heat capacity, temperature, thermal conductivity and resistance, time, velocity, and volume.
Just click a category in N-Converter to open a new area with supported units and see for yourself what you can convert. For example, if you select the angle option, you’ll be able to convert any number of circles, degrees, minutes, seconds, radians, grads, points, hours, or right angles.
View converted units on the fly
Worth noting is that it’s not necessary to click a button to trigger the conversion. This task is performed in real-time (as you type) and you can find out all converted units at once, so it’s not even required to choose the source and output unit. Check out our screenshots to view all units available for conversion in each category.
To sum things up, N-Converter delivers a quick solution for converting a wide range of measurement units, and it doesn’t need an active Internet connection to work. However, it doesn’t have options for exporting conversion results to file.
