SerialSniffer VSP Edition Description
SerialSniffer is a simple utility that allows you to view the data stream that is exchanged over the serial ports. Logging options are available and so is tunneling.
The application allows you to search for sequences of data stream. You can use symbols instead of raw data. Ease of use is one of the advantages that this software brings you, as you only have to choose the connection type, configure the parameters and open the connection.
You can also change the baud rates that the program will use. It also features a recording option that allows you to save the data stream for later playback.
Limitations in the unregistered version
- The parameters will not be saved
- Each serial connection will be automatically closed after 5 minutes. The output boxes will be cleared
- The log file is limited to 1024 characters
- The amount of characters for the SerialRecorder is limited to 64
