PlusX is a Microsoft Excel add-in that enables you to make the spreadsheet information more engaging for your audience using several charts that refresh while you are updating the information.
Enables you to generate 5 extra charts
Considering this is an add-in, it goes without saying that you need to have Microsoft Office installed on your computer. Moreover, it does not have a standalone UI, but rather it borrows the interface of Excel.
The role of the utility is to help you generate several new charts to display the data from the spreadsheets better. To be more precise, you can highlight the numeric data from your spreadsheets more visually interesting using waterfall, BubbleX, double donut, Gantt or mirror charts.
As you probably guessed, each graph can aid you to display a certain type of data. For example, the Double Donut chart can be a good option for presenting long reports, whereas a Gantt graph can be best suited to highlight the progress of a project.
Comes with an auxiliary menu group and a browser
It is necessary to mention that the add-in includes an extra set of tools that you might find useful while working on the spreadsheet. More exactly, you can center, wrap and highlight of selected cells by accessing one of the two Header options.
In addition, you can alter the numbers so they display two digits, add a thousand separator, apply standard conditional formatting, create a copy of the spreadsheet or access a browser.
As a side note, the add-in also displays the Live FX rates of countries within a banner that you can just remove from the toolbar if you find it distracting.
