AeroBlend Description
AeroBlend is an easy-to-use software application that automatically modifies the Windows color scheme to match the current wallpaper, thus creating harmony.
It comes packed with an intuitive set of options that can be easily adjusted by anyone, regardless of previous experience with computer software.
Setting up the utility is a no-brainer and takes little time. Once started, AeroBlend creates an icon in the system tray area and automatically becomes active.
It is possible to open the display properties panel, turn off automatic mode and apply a color from any part of the screen or select one from the color spectrum.
From the settings panel of the tool you can change the color source to active application icon or contents. In case of wallpaper mode, AeroBlend automatically uses the colors from the background if no wallpaper is set, unless this option is disabled. The brightness and opacity levels can be tweaked as well.
Additional options animate the color transition, show the desktop for picking a color, and enable automatic settings when picking or selecting a color. Double-clicking the tray can either bring up the display properties panel, or trigger screen color picking or selecting a color, while the tray icon style may be selected between application, native, or active mode. Warning dialogs can be reactivated.
AeroBlend has minimal impact on computer resources, as expected. It did not hang, crash or pop up error notifications in our tests. In a nutshell, this application provides advanced, yet intuitive options for automatically changing the Windows color scheme to be in tone with the current wallpaper.
