Airtame Description
Airtame is the desktop application for the wireless device with the same name and it enables you to share your wireless connection across devices in its vicinity. The highlight of the application stems from the fact that you can stream meetings with users who are not physically there, by setting up a website or dashboard on your TV.
The Airtame device is a tiny HDMI device that can be easily connected to any compatible port of a projector or screen. Once you plug in the gadget, you can immediately start streaming the content from your screen from any major computer platform, smartphone or tablet.
In the eventuality that you are using a wireless network, then you will be happy to learn that the guests you have invited can connect to your stream by simply adding the IP address. However, you should make sure that your computer and the Airtame device are on the same WiFi network. Afterwards, you can find your device and access it to start streaming to the device.
You can create a dashboard or a custom website that allows guests to connect to your stream by enabling the URL feature in the Manage Device window and typing the desired address. Then again, you should keep in mind that there are current limitations to this feature, namely that video playback, Java, Flash, WebGL, Silverlight and high-demand graphics are not supported. The websites that require login do not work with this feature as well due to lack of ways to provide input.
