Chordastic Description
If you’re an aspiring guitarist or just playing the guitar is one of your hobbies, you should probably know that there are several third-party applications such as Chordastic that can help you enhance your experience.
Create or edit lyrics and chords tabs
You can turn to this application if you need a quick way to write lyrics and chords tabs for songs or view ones that have been already written just as easily.
Just as you launch the application you’ll notice that the window is split into multiple sections that correspond to their purpose. Therefore, the left of the screen is occupied by a “Chords” section, the right portion is the song editor, where you can add lyrics and change the song’s title, artist, writer, composer and kind, while the center is a preview.
After you finish editing your song’s details as explained earlier, you can start adding chords to the text, so that the one who’s trying to play/sing it can know when to strum or switch them. Adding chords can be done by making a selection on the piano interface and clicking anywhere above the text, where the chord should be played.
Intuitive interface
Chordastic comes with a simple, user-friendly interface that packs intuitive controls so that even novices can understand and operate them without considerable efforts.
The main window consists of both traditional menus and toolbar buttons so that there’s more than one way to access its functions. The app enables you to print content directly from its menus and export to HTML, TXT and ChordPro formats.
Simple configuration menu
Aside from its briefly described controls, you can also transpose chords, print the created songs and access a configuration window, where you can adjust various options.
You can suppress the DPI, choose the default song folder, automatically add chords when lyrics lines are the same and modify parameters related to song display.
Handy lyrics and chords tab editor
All things considered, Chordastic can help you write lyrics and chords song tabs by providing you with all the necessary tools. It fashions an intuitive interface, user-friendly controls and a simple configuration menu.
