CSlide Description
Not a day goes by without seeing a picture, at least accidentally. These are used to express different situations, and are also used in presentations, or illustrations. In this regard, CSlide comes with the means to quickly create custom slideshows out of your picture galleries, and have them played at the press of a button.
Lightweight and easy to use
On the bright side of things, the application skips you both the time and effort needed to go through a setup process, letting you use it directly from a USB flash drive, even on other computers. However, in order for this to be possible, you need to make sure that .NET Framework is installed on the target PC.
The application’s visual design is neat, with a clean interface letting anyone quickly accommodate, and flat, high-quality textures for buttons and general elements. All controls are on the upper toolbar, leaving the rest of the space for you to enjoy all of the pictures you add.
Set slide interval, and play order
You can start to add pictures by simply dragging them over the main window. However, you need to make sure these are all in the same folder, because import options only work with entire directories. Once done, you can view them in the general preview area, scroll through them, or take the time to manage slideshow options.
A time value field can be filled in with a custom number, representing the amount of seconds it takes until the next picture slides in. There aren’t any effects or editing options, other than the possibility to make them all grayscale, or auto-rotate if necessary. Pictures can also be arranged according to different details, or make them come in a random order.
On an ending note
All things considered, we come to the conclusion that CSlide is a slim, practical slideshow maker you can use on the go to instantly initiate a slideshow out of a custom picture collection. Even though you can’t export the slideshow, the overall design, and different settings make it worth a try overall.
