Desktop Projector Description
Desktop Projector is a small software application whose purpose is to help you broadcast the desktop of a computer to other PCs in the local network.
It can be used for projecting presentations or tutorials on other screens. Teachers can also use it for explaining educational concepts to students.
In order to establish the remote connection, you need to activate the transmitter on one computer and enable the receiver on the other. The second PC displays the desktop of the first one.
Simple looks
Desktop Projector reveals a simplistic layout that embeds only a few options. There’s no support for a help manual but the dedicated parameters are highly intuitive so you won’t spend too much time tweaking the entire process.
How it works
Desktop Projector gives you the possibility to enable or disable the receiver and transmitter with simple clicks. Based on the aforementioned options, the application is able to stream your current desktop content on a remote computer’s screen in your local network.
Aside from the aforementioned configuration settings, the application does not hide other options under the hood. Tests have shown that the utility carries out the task pretty quickly and without errors. It doesn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory so the overall performance of the system is not hampered.
Bottom line
All things considered, Desktop Projector offers a simplistic software solution for projecting your desktop content on other computers from your local network without having to invest too much time and effort into the entire process. The intuitive layout makes it an ideal application for less experienced users.
