Eusing Free Video Converter is a very simple application that enables audio and video conversion to a wide range of formats. Clips can be turned into formats such as AVI, 3GP, MOV, SWF and WMV, as well as prepared for playback on devices like iPad, iPod, iPhone, Nokia and Palm.
It is possible to transform audio tracks into AC3, M4A, MP3, OGG, WAV and WMA, as well as to extract the audio stream from videos and convert them into the aforementioned formats.
Setting up the application takes little time and minimal effort. Its GUI is represented by a small window with a clean structure.
Unlike most video conversion tools, Eusing Free Video Converter requires you to first specify the output profile and destination directory (same as the input or custom), while selecting files for conversion is done afterward (encoding starts automatically).
This action is possible with the use of the file browser, since drag-and-drop functionality is not supported. However, you can convert multiple items at the same time, provided that all selected files exist in the same folder. Once the task is done, you can open the output location in Explorer by clicking a button.
Eusing Free Video Converter uses the FFmpeg encoder and allows users to choose another codec, as well as to mark it as default. There are no other notable features available here, aside from the fact that you can check for updates from the main frame.
The program carries out a conversion job quickly while using low CPU and RAM, delivering quality audio and video files. We have not encountered any problems in our tests, since Eusing Free Video Converter did not hang or crash. However, advanced users do not have the possibility of editing output audio and video settings. Other than that, the tool is fast and effective. There is also a portable edition available, if you want to bypass the installer and run the app directly.
