MagiWOL Description

MagiWOL is a reliable application that uses the local network connections to wake the selected stations. The program allows you to remotely wake the selected computer, as long as you provide its name and MAC address. You might also need to enter the SecureOn password to access the station.

Straightforward interface

MagiWOL features a simple interface, with graphic details, that allows you to easily configure as many connections as you wish. The program works with various local networks, regardless of their sizes or the number of hosted computers.

The main window displays a table with all the configured connections and allows you to select all or only a few of them for waking. You need to specify the name of the station, its MAC address, the SecureOn password if available, plus optionally its broadcast address and port. The tool allows you to test the connection before saving it.

Quick wake and connections configuration

Once you have populated the main table in MagiWOL with all the computers you wish to activate, you can save the table to your PC, as a specific file. This way, you can easily control the same connections from any station that MagiWOL is installed on.

The program provides you with the Wake all function, which allows you to activate the computers in the list without selecting them. Moreover, the Quick wake tool allows you to activate any station in the network, without adding it to the main list.

Easily set the local network options

MagiWOL can automatically detect the local network, but it also allows you to manually set the broadcast address and port for the WOL packet. Moreover, the IPv4 protocol is activated by default and you may optionally enable the IPv6 to work in parallel. The program allows you to test the validity of the network host before saving the settings.
