Multiplicity Description

Multiplicity is a remote utility whose purpose is to help you control multiple computers with a single keyboard and mouse.

Before running the application, you are asked to set up the current computer as your primary or secondary one.

The primary computer controls other PCs using the local keyboard and mouse, while the secondary one is managed via remote actions. This setting can also be altered later from the main panel.

Add computers

Multiplicity gives you the possibility to add a new PC by providing details about the name. Additionally, you are allowed to position the computers on a grid for seamless control.

Remote control using the KVM mode

The application features a smart KVM mode that can be enabled via a custom keyboard shortcut. You may configure computers to be remotely controlled by setting up a list with the target systems.

What’s more, you can show a control bar if there is space on screen, use a dark grey background, and automatically try to connect to the last used remote PC on entering the KVM mode.

Clipboard sharing and permission options

Multiplicity lets you share clipboard data between computers (text, files and images), allow files to be dragged between PCs for transferring them, lock the secondary computer when the current one is locked, show status window when controlling another PC, assign hotkeys for switching to specific PCs, as well as receive and send audio from/to other systems.

An overall efficient tool

All in all, Multiplicity integrates an advanced set of features for helping engineers, graphics designers and gamers control multiple computers at the same time.
