SampliTron Description
Musicians who wish to add samples and sound effects to go with their live performances, might be looking for a software solution that implements such capabilities.
SampliTron was designed specifically with such purposes in mind and it will provide people with the means to customize their musical undertakings with various effects and audio samples.
Being deployed as a standalone installer, it will not require any plug-in host application to function and no additional software or hardware equipment either.
Using the DirectX Xaudio2 libraries, it offers an accessible solution for those who aren’t yet fully accustomed to the creation of sample-based music. It will allow them to experiment and try out different combinations for their live musical performances.
Some of its features will enable one to achieve control through external MIDI devices and it will allow people to play notes using the on-screen keyboard, which is configurable to display 3 to 7 octaves.
Furthermore, the application can generate MIDI controller data which can be later on used for controlling external devices. The splits that are created with SampliTron are having a different sample for each key and the .WAV samples that can be used are of various bit depths and sample rates.
Finally, it comes packed with automation for scale pitching of the loaded samples and keyboard split generation.

Limitations in the unregistered version
- The unregistered version has the following limitations:
- Polyphony is restricted to 2 notes.
- Sampler settings cannot be saved as new patches.
- Only includes a library of 120 samples. The full version includes 220.
