SportsTracker Description
Tracking sports and other physical activities or exercises can be beneficial. It can give users a sense of progression as well as help them manage their schedule.
SportsTracker provides users with an easy to use means of following and managing their exercise schedule.
Easily track sports sessions
The application features a simple and intuitive interface. Its main window enables users to view a calendar of their past, current and future activities.
Users can add multiple activities per day and customize each of them in terms of type (for example: cycling), subtype (example: road tour), intensity, distance, speed, added weights and duration. The application can calculate one of these last three factors based on the other two. For example, it can calculate the speed based on the duration of the exercise and the distance covered, or the other way around. This feature can come in handy if one has no way of recording one of the parameters.
One can also provide data regarding average heart-rate and calories consumed or import data from HRM files and attach comments to each exercise session.
View detailed information about your activity
The application provides several ways of viewing one’s activity. The previously mentioned calendar-view displays a weekly sum of covered distances and a total of hours spent exercising.
Users can also access a detailed, sortable, list view of their activities, filter them by date, type, intensity, equipment or by comment, using regular expressions. The program can then provide total, average, minimum and maximum values for distance, speed, duration, heart rate and calories consumed.
Graphs can be generated to display the above mentioned data over various periods of time and the program features an ExerciseViewer tool that can open files generated by common and popular heart-rate monitors.
Conclusion
This application can be a handy tool for keeping track and managing your sports and exercise schedule.
