Word To PDF Description
As the name of this software suggests, Word To PDF allows you to convert Word files (e.g. DOC, DOCX) to PDF documents. The program can be seamlessly handled by all user levels.
The interface of the program is plain and simple to work with. Documents can be imported into the list by using either the file browser, treeview or “drag and drop” method. Batch processing is allowed.
In the queue you can check out the track number, name, location, size, type and status of each file. So, all you have to do is establish the output directory in order to proceed with the conversion task.
Furthermore, you can enable Word To PDF to automatically merge PDF files after conversion, encrypt the documents and set restrictions (e.g. extract content, modify document), as well as set the tool to automatically open the destination folder and to create a log file after conversion.
The PDF processing program requires a moderate amount of system resources, includes a well-drawn help file with snapshots for all user levels, quickly finishes a task and manages to preserve a good quality when it comes to shapes, images and the text layout. No errors have popped up during our tests and Word To PDF did not freeze or crash.
Its response time is generally good but it may take several seconds for the task to initiate after pressing the “Convert” button. Furthermore, you need to have the MS Office package installed in order for Word To PDF to work. But, even so, we strongly recommend this application to all users.
