XXCLONE Freeware Description
XXCLONE is a simple-to-use software program which enables you to create a clone of your system volume. It can be handled by users of any level of experience.
The interface of the tool is based on a standard window and uncomplicated layout; you can pick the source and target volume from a drop-down list, together with the operation mode.
XXCLONE can either back up the entire volume by copying all the files from scratch or by copying incrementally, back up the Windows key directories incrementally, or transfer the Registry without file backup.
Experienced users are free to tinker with additional settings. For instance, you can use the alternative wallpaper on the target desktop, use the HyperSync Algorithm to increase the backup speed, create a log or debug file, as well as schedule the computer to automatically power off when the task is done.
Other features of XXCLONE let you make the target volume self-bootable, copy the volume’s ID, save the current settings to a BAT file for further tasks, schedule tasks and restore the system to an earlier state, among others.
The program runs on a low quantity of CPU and system memory, so it shouldn’t be a strain to the computer’s resources. It has a good response time and worked well during our testing, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and advanced customization settings, XXCLONE should please the entire audience.
