Audio Pitch Directshow filter SDK is a library designed to help you enhance your audio applications with extra editing functions. To be more precise, the utility packs a set of components that allows your app to modify the sound pitch as well as the tempo speed of the audio files it is processing.
The software development kit is equally useful for video players and karaoke apps, particularly as it packs components that let you transform the recorded voice into several other types, such as children, men or women, for instance. At the same time, you can modify the standard voice within the video or audio files that are processed.
A further noteworthy capability is that your application can allow you to edit the tempo – as in make it extremely fast or slow – but without affecting the sound pitch. As you would expect, the utility is designed to work with any video and audio file that can be played in any Directshow base tool.
