Batch Picture Resizer Description
As the name of this program implies, Batch Picture Resizer allows you to change the size of your image files in batch mode. It supports several formats, including JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG and PSD.
The interface of the application is clean and pretty simple to work with. Photographs can be imported into the list by using either the file browser or the “drag and drop” method.
So, once you set the new size and output destination of your image files, you can proceed with the task.
In addition, you can enable Batch Picture Resizer to maintain the original aspect ratio, switch the width and height in order to match the long sides, enable smart cropping and change the format of your pictures.
But you can also rotate photographs and convert them to grayscale, normalize colors, rename files, add watermarks, change the canvas size and viewing mode, pick a different language for the interface, as well as configure image options (e.g. GIF compression), and more.
The program runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file with snapshots for all user levels, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a very good image quality after resizing and conversion. No errors have occurred during our tests and Batch Picture Resizer did not freeze or crash. We strongly recommend this app to all users.
