Blue Cat’s FreqAnalyst Description
Blue Cat’s FreqAnalyst is a VST, AAX and DirectX plug-in designed to help you monitor the spectrum of the signal in real time in mono and dual channels. Thanks to its native DSP code, you can now have total control over the sample’s frequency transformation and achieve optimal performance.
What makes this utility stand out in the crowd is the fact that it can display continuous variations of the signal at high resolutions for both time and frequency. Moreover, since it packs a zoomable display, you can keep a close eye even to the smallest parts and consequentially, manage the conversion of the signal more efficiently.
Speaking of control, it is worth mentioning that the tool comes with full MIDI and automation support, so you can take advantage of the unique threshold system and gain that extra precision for any frequency range that you are working on. In case you perform an unwanted modification, then you can use the redo and undo functions to restore the sample.
Despite the fact that it is built for performance, the plug-in does not put any strain on your CPU while operating or when it is in idle mode. In fact, Blue Cat’s FreqAnalyst is designed to shut down when not in use so that the CPU usage of your digital audio workstation is optimized.
For more advanced capabilities, check Blue Cat’s FreqAnalyst Pro plug-in, an extended version that offers many more features, such as saving/restoring curves, precise measurement tools, 3D spectrogram view, MIDI output. For multiple tracks analysis, you can use Blue Cat’s FreqAnalyst Multi plug-in.
