Box Sync Description
Box Sync is an efficient and reliable software solution developed to offer you the means of uploading your most frequently used documents on the cloud, enabling you to have access to them whenever you need, regardless of your location.
Straightforward and intuitive usage
The application features a brief and uneventful installation, after which you can login with your account credentials to get started.
Box Sync will automatically create a folder on your system, in your Windows user’s directory, also placing a shortcut on your desktop.
Upload documents to your cloud account and access them from anywhere you want
In order to work with the program from multiple locations, you will need to have Box Sync installed on all those computers. This way, the data you store in one location becomes available on all others, provided that the ‘Sync’ function is activated.
Aside from being able to work with the documents stored in the shared folder and edit their contents, the tool also enables you to create a link which can be sent to colleagues or friends, so as to permit them to view or download the file on any web browser, regardless of the fact that they may or may not have an account on Box Sync.
However, the program does not support multiple usernames connecting to it simultaneously, meaning you need to logout and back in, if you want to access information from a different account. Similarly, it does not feature the ability for users to share data between themselves or send files to each other, privately.
An approachable cloud service
All in all, Box Sync proves to be a handy and useful tool whose main purpose is to function as an alternative to all the other available cloud services, allowing you to synchronize data between several different PCs, so you can have access to your files at home, at the office or wherever else you may need them.
