flickr downloadr Description
There is an abundance of social sites where you can add and share virtually anything that is not palpable, even feelings. However you might stumble upon something of great interest to you and will want to save it.
Some sites allow files to be saved on the computer, others do not, but in this case you can find applications that help you. Flickr Downloadr is one of them, and you can use it to download photos from a specific social media site.
Simple and straight to the point
Once you run the application it will guide you through a configuration process, like the social media account that you are using, and destination folder for the downloaded photos to be stored in.
A few mouse clicks here and there and you are ready to download. Most of the main window space is occupied by thumbnails of the photos from the profile you are logged in to. Below this presentation space you find all the necessary options. “Show All Photos” if pressed will do just that, otherwise it will only show only your public photos. You have two more separate buttons to quickly select or deselect all photos, right next to them are the page browsing options, like the current page of photos you are on and scrolling buttons.
Last but not least, there are three downloading options, only for the selected photos, for the current page you are on, and download all pages that contain photos.
In the end
While having the ability to download photos with your mouse directly from the site one might wonder what is the use of this application. Photos get uploaded everyday and for passionate people it would be a waste of time to manually scroll through all your photos and download them, and Flickr downloadr gives you back just that time.
