MDF to ISO convertor is a straightforward piece of software whose only goal is to turn MDF files into ISO images and burn them using a third-party application, such as Nero.
The application does not include complex configuration settings, making it accessible to all user levels, including rookies.
The installation procedure takes little time to finish and does not need special attention from the user.
You can run the executable file to view a small window with a regular layout and few buttons.
So, all you have to do is point out the MDF file using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop feature is not supported.
After selecting the CD/DVD burning tool (Nero or other), you can proceed with the burning session immediately.
If Nero is not found on your computer, then you are prompted by a file browser to specify the executable file of another burning software product. There are no other options provided by this utility, aside from the fact that you can toggle between the English and Dutch languages from the Help menu.
MDF to ISO convertor has a good response time and works well, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation.
However, it depends on a third-party burning application to carry out the conversion procedure, and does not provide the option of saving ISO images to the disk without taking additional actions. Otherwise, MDF to ISO convertor serves its purpose.
