MP4Tools (formerly MP4Joiner) Description
MP4Joiner is a fast and easy-to-use piece of kit developed to help you merge two or more MP4 video clips into a single file. It comes packed with just basic settings to accomplish this task, so it can be handled even by first-time users.
Clear-cut interface and simple settings
The GUI is plain and simple, made from a regular window that provides direct access to all available options. MP4 video clips can be added to the task list using either the file browser or drag-and-drop method, and you can import as many items as you want.
In the list you can examine the full path, duration, size, audio and video properties for each entry. Plus, you can remove any item from the list, as well as view the total duration and file size in the status bar. Apart from the fact that you can switch to another language for the UI, there are no other notable options available here.
Evaluation and conclusion
The tool merges videos quickly while remaining light on the system resources, since it uses low CPU and RAM. We have not come across any issues in our tests, as it did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. On the other hand, the app offers basic settings only and it is heavily ad-supported at setup. Otherwise, MP4Joiner can be used by anyone with ease, thanks to its overall simplicity.
