MsSqlToPostgres is an application that facilitates the transfer of information or structures between MS SQL and PostgreSQL. The software makes the data migration easy, quick and straight-forward. The transfer operates directly, between the two database server programs.
MsSqlToPostgres is designed to help you easily transfer data and structures from SQL to PostgreSQL, in a short time and with no effort. The software allows you to export data from SQL, straight into PostgreSQL, as if transferring it to a text file.
Not only is the migration made easy, but the software also enables you to select which tables or columns you wish to process, thus exporting the entire structure. The application enables you to transfer tables one-to-one, many-to-one or many-to-many.
In other words, you can select a single table, to convert it from SQL to PostgreSQL, or select a multitude of tables, which you can transfer to corresponding structures. You also have the option of merging the tables before migrating the data.
MsSqlToPostgres prompts you to select the source tables and the destination for the data migration. You can select the desired schema, view the contained sets of data and select the specific ones you with to process. Additionally, you may view the table and select the exact rows you wish to transfer.
Additionally, you may perform this selection through the means of an SQL query. Both import and export actions can be managed via SQL query. You may control the source selection or the entire process via query. Similarly, the software can be operated from command-line.
The software allows you to instantly export information from one database to another, but you may also schedule tasks to be performed at a later time and eventually, in a recurrent manner. The user-friendly interface allows you to visualize the contents of the schemas and select the desired tables or rows for the transfer.
