Periodic Table Explorer Description
Periodic Table Explorer is a software solution that allows users to explore the periodic table and get details about each chemical element.
The program boasts a clean interface that offers quick access to all its main functions. It is possible to change the gradient and bar color for the graph display, and to pick the colors for the transition metals, halogens, noble gases and others.
Study the periodic table using this tool
The application displays the atomic number, weight and symbol for each element. The background color of each element is linked to the group it belongs to.
You can make the application list the elements that are solid, liquid, gas or synthetic-made. With a simple double-click on any of the elements shown in the main window you can get details about its properties (group name, state, color, boiling and melting point and density), history facts, discovery information, the origin of the name, and others.
Analyze chemical elements using graphs
The program also includes built-in lists with useful information, such as the atomic volume, mass, number, point, density, melting point, and others. Moreover, it is able to reveal details about the discoverer for each element, and it also features a built-in glossary.
There are several display modes that can reveal data about the atomic properties, discovery date, and magnetic, electrical, elastic and thermal properties.
Use a search tool to quickly find elements
It also features a powerful search engine that can help you look through all the elements of the periodic table, or just the ones with specific properties. You can select a country or area from a preset list, and view information about the element production and reserves.
Periodic Table Explorer renders atomic structure diagrams which show visual representation of the electron structure of the elements, electron configuration and atomic radius comparison. Moreover, the media section provides relevant images for each element.
Easy-to-use explorer for the periodic table
Furthermore, it includes equations, constants and chemical formulae, as well as a molecule viewer and a calculator for determining molarity and mass from volume and concentration.
Overall, Periodic Table Explorer can be described as a handy application that provides useful information about the periodic table, graphs with the important element properties and many other features. However, it’s not fully compatible with Windows 10. Several errors popped up in our tests and we have noticed that it has rendering issues.
