Pixel art is a form of digital art that dates back in the 1970’s and it is used for a great number of games, designed for the PC, consoles and mobile devices. Pixel Art is a nice tool that was created to help you immediately create new designs.
The app has a simple interface that should be easy to figure out, thanks to the intuitive layout.
There are two available sizes for the canvas, namely 400 or 900 squares that you can work with. This enables you to create images of multiple sizes, thus letting you express your creativity to its full extent.
The canvas can be displayed as a blank page or with a guidance grid to delimitate each pixel. It’s possible to color the squares in various colors. While some presets can be accessed straight from the frame, others need to be selected from the spectrum.
The app comes with a couple of color themes that can be enabled and disabled from the program’s Settings area (which can be accessed by pressing the right-click button on the mouse).
The files can be saved to the disk to several file formats, such as BMP, GIF, JPG and PNG.
All in all, Pixel Art is a great app that can be extremely fun to play with. Less experienced individuals shouldn’t have any issues while installing or customizing this tool, thanks to its overall simplicity.
