Registry Life Description
Registry Life is a tool that can increase the performance level of your computer by cleaning and optimizing the Windows registry items.
The interface of the program is plain and simple. Registry Life comes equipped with two main functions – “Registry Cleanup” and “Registry Optimization”.
In the “Settings” menu you can select the registry parts that you want the program to check, between startup items, file type associations, shared libraries, new file and IE context menu.
But Registry Life can also look into application data, the MUI cache, registered applications, user-wide application settings and control parameters sets. Settings can be restored to their initial values.
Furthermore, you can enable the tool to ignore CD-ROM, removable disk, remote and RAM disk references, as well as references to non-existent drives.
In addition, you can create an ignore list, enable the options to automatically create backups before making any changes to the registry and to check for updates online (optionally configure proxy settings), as well as toggle between two interface languages (English and Russian).
During the scanning process, you can check out the total number of problems in each part of the registry. When it finishes, you can also view a detailed report of invalid entries (optionally export the list to a text document). Registry optimization can be easily done within a few clicks (the system needs to reboot afterward).
The software uses a low amount of system resources, includes a brief help file and quickly performs tasks without causing other processes to run slower. It has a very good response time and no problems have come up during our tests. We strongly recommend it to all users.
