TaskSpace Description

TaskSpace offers an interesting approach to organizing your workspace, with the goal to help you increase efficiency and enhance your performance when working with the computer.

In order to reach this objective, it allows you to group multiple applications together in a single so-called ‘task space’, providing faster access to multiple programs that are needed for performing an operation.

To give you an example, you can collect information using a Web browser, switch to a spreadsheet program to organize it and launch the calculator to determine sums or differences. TaskSpace enables you to create a working environment that includes all three applications, without having to look for them in the taskbar or press ‘ALT-Tab’ until you get to each.

TaskSpace runs silently in the system tray, enabling you to manage all the work spaces using the right-click context menu. A new workspace can be easily created by selecting the designated option in the menu.

Attaching an application to a task space is done by dragging and dropping an opened window into the workspace. As soon as you do so, the corresponding icon in the taskbar disappears, which is quite useful, especially if you are working with a large number of programs.

Windows can be arranged manually within the task space, so that the view is not obstructed. For your convenience, task spaces can be joined in a single workspace with multiple tabs.

You can interact with any application without restrictions and as soon as the workspace is closed, all the contained windows are displayed on the desktop and their icons re-appear in the taskbar.

TaskSpace can prove useful for any user who needs to work with multiple windows simultaneously. It offers you a way to create individual workspaces containing applications that relate to each other, allowing you to save the time needed for switching to other windows and thus, perform a task much faster.
