Telepad Description
Telepad is an intuitive desktop client which enables you to establish the connection to your Android phone and remote control your computer. The application allows you to transform your Android touchscreen phone into a remote control which can replace the mouse and keyboard for your computer.
Desktop client and phone app
Telepad comes with two components, the desktop client and the phone app, both of which are required in order for the process to properly function. Both tools need to be installed on their supported platforms, then you need to select the connection type.
Telepad supports Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection between the telephone and the computer. The purpose of this type of connection is to be able to step away from the computer, further than the USB cable can reach. The desktop client runs in the background, however, you can prompt the main window, in order to change the selection and view notifications.
Use your phone as a remote control
As soon as the connection between your PC and Android device is established, you can start using the screen of your phone as a mouse pad / digital keyboard. From this moment on, you can step away from the desk, yet easily control your computer.
The application can transfer all the main functions and shortcuts from the mouse/keyboard to the phone, including click, double click (double tap), right-click and window drag. Moreover, you can use special characters while typing or use hotkey combinations – with Ctrl and Alt. You may also access the function keys – F1, F2 etc.
