Text Speaker Description
While reading is always a pleasant activity, there are instances when this is not exactly advised, such as while driving or in a crowded environment when you simply don’t have room to pull out the book or notebook to read from.
Text Speaker is a nice program that can transform text documents into audio files which can be read aloud.
You may choose one of the available voices, namely Brian and Amy, which are British and Eric and Jennifer who speak American English.
Once this is selected, you can start writing the text you want to have the program read aloud. The text editor comes with several customization options, such as letting you change the font name and size. You may also apply an emphasis option (bold, italic or underline), text alignment and introduce bullet-point or numbered lists.
Then, the program can help you save the file to Word, PDF or RTF and convert the files to audio format, namely MP3.
While English is the default language for the app, others are available as well, both for the interface and the speaking voice. However, this requires that you download additional content.
All in all, Text to Speech is a very simple program that has a clean interface. Less experienced users shouldn’t have any issues while working with this tool, thanks to its overall simplicity.
