Trivia Host Screen Description
Trivia Host Screen is a simple, snappy application that allows you to organize your own trivia show at home by projecting images and videos to a secondary screen.
Work with multiple images, songs, and videos
With the help of this program, you can create a selection of pictures, videos, and songs and have them displayed and played at home without much hassle. You need to copy the desired content in the Images, Music, and Video folders in the same directory with the application, and all of it is automatically available in the application when running it.
The program does not require installation, which means that you can extract the content of the downloaded archive to a removable drive and execute the program on any computer. However, you do need two displays connected to the PC to take full advantage of its capabilities.
Track your team’s performance
The tool displays buzzers directly on its main window and allows you to follow the performance of a team without effort. Additionally, you can reset these buzzers any time you need. When looking to start a new trivia game, simply replace the already used image, audio, and video files and launch the application again.
No customization options
Built based on the idea of what-you-see-is-what-you-get, the application is easy-to-use, yet lacks almost all other forms of customization. It allows you to adjust the volume, but does not permit you to resize the window or change the background color.
The program does not allow you to turn the window that appears on the second monitor to full screen, although it does support a series of fixed sizes, ranging from 800×600 pixels to 1600×900 pixels. However, these sizes could prove either too large or to small for your display.
Various compatibility issues
You might also run into a series of compatibility issues with the program. On Windows 7 and later platforms, you need to set the tool to run in Windows XP compatibility mode and with administrator privileges, otherwise it won’t work at all.
Before getting started with the program, make sure that it has all of the necessary permissions, to ensure a smooth experience. Read the included instructions to set it up correctly.
A fast, easy-to-use tool
Trivia Host Screen is an easy-to-use and snappy tool, provided that you manage to overcome its compatibility issues. It allows you to display selected content on a secondary screen with only a mouse click, thus enabling you to host your own trivia show at home.
