Zimbra Contacts Converter specializes in transforming the file that stores information about the email addresses or phone numbers you need. It enables you to convert the contacts file to one of the supported formats: .VCF, .XLS/.XLSX, .CSV or .PST.
In other words, you can convert the files and use them with Outlook, Microsoft Excel or transfer them into the mobile phone. Additionally, you can import the .CSV file into a multitude of programs that can work with it.
Zimbra Contacts Converter allows you to manually import the contacts file or select the folder that contains it. It does not support adding files to the conversion list by dragging and dropping, plus, it cannot automatically identify the location of the source item.
Moreover, while it works with Zimbra contacts, it cannot extract the desired information from the client’s source folders. Instead, you need to export the contacts, unzip the archive, then load the resulting file into the converter utility. Zimbra Contacts Converter can only convert input .META files. The email client, however, can mainly export the files as .CSV.
